My wife came home today to find a huge group of black “ants with clear wings” all huddles together at the corner base of our front door. I came home with some raid and sprayed the living daylights out of them but what are they? Carpenter ants, termites? Or a harmless bug? Do I need to have a pest control company come out and spray around the outside of my house? If so what is my best option since I have a dog that is sometimes in the backyard.
