Why did this guy (an exterminator) show up at my place today?

he knocked on the door and said PEST CONTROL. so i opened the door and was like huh whats going on and he goes my name is _____ and i specializei n roaches termites (And then he started naming a bunch of other stuff) and so I interrupted him and said yeah so? and then he goes
I’m going to do a routine inspection and its gonna cost you $210, ok?
and i said NO. and then i told him i dont got any pests
and then he said, yeah but you need to make SURE. $200 ok?
and i said NO
and then he said $150 is the best i can offer.
and then i told him no thanks have a good day now and shut the door.
i then looked out the window and saw him writing out papers and taking equipment out of his truck. but then after unloading it all he put it back into his truck and drove off.

i woulda called police or mb he was at wrong address
