i know this looks like cheating, but im swapmed right now and my book got destroyed, and all i need is a helping hand. Id ask my teacher for help but i think hes out to get me!!

1. Widespread use of a pesticide will eventually lead to a degree of immunity. The result is that another type of pesticide will need to be used, which will lead to a build up of chemicals on the product/crop in question.

2. Organic fertiliser: leaches into water supplies, causing eutrophication
Inorganic fertiliser: DDT’s

3. GM advantages: can give greater amounts of food in a smaller area, allow for crops to grow in places they would not have been able to before, can give nutrients cheaply that are not found in a product normally.

Disadvantages: can cause mutations within natural species, eg. giving herbicide resistance to weeds. Effects on humans not entirely known, can cause cross pollenation in other crops, meaning a loss in money.
