Pest control spray: effect on cats?

I just found out that my apartment complex sprayed my apartment with pest control (they had a professional exterminator come in for the whole building) without my knowledge. Because of that, I didn’t lock my cat up. She is about 3 months old. She doesn’t seem to be sick, but she is REALLY hyperactive right now. Is she just being a kitten having an unusually energetic evening, or could the spray have effected her? If she was effected, how would it manifest itself (what kind of symptoms could I generally expect)? I couldn’t smell anything when I got home from work…. Thanks!

As long as she doesn’t start to seizure, start to vomit, and/or have diarrhea she should be fine. Her breathing should be steady and so should her heartbeat. If you notice any difference in breathing it could be a symptom. If you notice any seizures go to a vet right away!
