A simple trap will remove the fleas from your home. I have used this type of trap for many years. Very effective, and cheap.

At night,place a low sided pan, cake or pie pan, in the middle of the infected room. Add a couple drops of dish soap, then fill half way with water. Place a chair next to the pan and attach a clamp light to a leg. Position it directly over, and about 6 to 8 inches above the pan.

Turn off all other lights in the room, except for the clamp light.

The fleas will jump at the light, fall into the soapy water, and drown. In the morning, dump the trap water in the sink and wash them down the drain.

Keep using the trap, moving it from room to room on different nights.

Flea eggs hatch after 2 weeks, so keep trapping them at least that long. When fleas are no longer caught, stop using the trap.
